Anti-Racism for Collective Liberation with the Catalyst Project

Catalyst

In this interactive day-long intensive workshop, we'll strengthen our relationships as a community, develop our visions for justice in society, explore how institutional racism helps to perpetuate poverty, and look at how white privilege undermines our efforts to build strong, healthy communities. Though this workshop is geared towards white people, all are welcome.

The Catalyst Project will be co-facilitating workshops with members from the VWC. The Catalyst Project is a center for political education and movement-building based in the San Francisco Bay Area. Their goal is to create a world where all epople are free from oppression and exploitation through work in white communities to deepen anti-racist commitment and building multiracial movements.

The Catalyst Project visited Vermont in 2008 and 2010 to lead similar workshops. See here for more information about those visits. For more information about the Catalyst Project see  www.collectiveliberation.org
