The Vermont State Labor Council, AFL-CIO is the principle coalition of labor organizations in Vermont. United, we are a voice for the interests and needs of working people in Vermont.

We are affiliated with the national AFL-CIO, the umbrella organization for America's unions, representing 10 million workers nationwide. Together, we are the single largest member-based organization in the nation.

What We Do Together

• help working Vermonters organize for economic & social justice;
  
  
• mobilize members and allies to get involved with our unions and communities;
