The Economic
Policy Institute is a nonprofit, nonpartisan think tank that
seeks to broaden the public debate about strategies to achieve a prosperous
and fair economy.
Since 1979, Labor
Notes has been the voice of union activists who want to "put
the movement back in the labor movement" through rank
and file democracy. Labor Notes works to bring activists together
by
publishing a monthly magazine, books, and pamphlets as well as
holding schools and conferences. The Labor
Relations and Research Center at the University of Massachusetts,
Amherst is the premier labor education and research center in the
Northeast.
