Sowing Seeds, Taking Root, Growing Strong.
The theme we chose to celebrate our 15th year symbolizes the cycle of the movement we are building together. From hope and dreams, we are realizing our vision — to put people and the planet first.
Because of you — your action and donations — we are now on track to have a publicly-financed universal healthcare system in Vermont by 2017. We will have a hard fight in the years ahead for a system that provides universal care for our whole bodies from cradle to grave, that is affordable and equitably financed. We can do it, but we need you. This campaign must be member-funded and member-driven.
Until the end of the year, Ben Cohen (from Ben and Jerry’s) is going to match, dollar for dollar, any donation and all donations, until we reach $15,000. Please help us meet this goal by making a gift today!
Ben has supported the Healthcare Is a Human Right campaign from the very beginning.
“Your work over the past 15 years has been astounding, and I’m happy to help you grow stronger for the next 15. This country needs more groups like you that can bring people together to demand change and build real democracy.” — Ben Cohen
