What? Change in plans for Labor Day. With so much going on, our union allies who were organizing the Labor Day rally had some have decided to instead join us to go out and organize for Healthcare Is A Human Right Campaign.

Also, Senator Bernie Sanders is holding a Labor Day BBQ in Middlebury at 6 p.m. for dinner and 6:30 p.m. a discussion, Monday, September 6, 2010 on “The Green”, Middlebury, Vt.

Labor Day is a day which honors both the work we all do day in and day out and the long struggles of working people who fought hard for the eight hour day, for Social Security, the end of child labor and even the weekend. What better way for us to honor this day than by carrying on this tradition by organizing to re-define quality healthcare as a fundamental human right for everyone?
