BENEFIT CONCERT: Hardcore For Healthcare

BENEFIT: HARDCORE FOR HEALTHCARE
7pm, Friday, April 23, 242 Main Street, Burlington

Burlington - On April 23rd, Vermont's hardcore and punk community comes together to raise money and awareness for the Vermont Worker's Center's Health Care is a Human Right Campaign.

The benefit show will take place at 242 Main Street in downtown Burlington, a staple venue of the underground music scene for the past 25 years. Bands performing for the benefit include Fight Back, Crucial Times, Fractures, As We Were and Dead Icons.

Many of these bands have toured the country, most without adequate health care coverage or any at all, but all agree that health care should be treated as a human right and a public good.

Doors for the show open at 7 PM and it costs $7. All proceeds from the door will donated to the Vermont Worker's Center, who coordiante the Healthcare Is A Human RIght Campaign. Learn more at www.workerscenter.org/healthcare.
