Medicaid March

  • Do you and your family depend on Green Mountain Care or Dr. Dynasaur?
  • Do you or a loved one rely on Medicaid to live independently?
  • Have you been forced to buy an expensive plan on Vermont Health Connect because your income went up?

Join us on Tuesday, January 28th for a Medicaid Assembly at the Vermont Statehouse: An opportunity for low-income people to share our stories, meet with our legislators, and learn together.

We’ll talk about how to protect Medicaid and guarantee health care and the right to live with dignity for everyone in Vermont.

Schedule of the Day:
9am - 12pm: Welcoming, Story Share, Legislative Training
12pm - 1:30pm: Meet with our Legislators
1:30pm: Debrief and Closing
(Optional): Stay in the afternoon to sit-in on relevant committee meetings

*Snacks provided, bring your own lunch (or buy in the cafeteria). Kids activities and childcare support available. Contact eliza@workerscenter.org if you are bringing your kids.
