Next Monday, May 1st, millions of low-income and working people across the world are planning to hit the streets for immigrant and workers' rights, disability justice, real climate solutions and an end to racial oppression.
Join us on Monday in Burlington as we march in support of dairy farmworkers' efforts to secure human rights, demonstrating our unity in the face of the Trump administration's attacks on our communities, and calling on Ben & Jerry's to implement the Milk with Dignity program they committed to nearly two years ago.
Meet at 12pm at the VWC / Migrant Justice office for the march kickoff (294 N Winooski Ave) in the Old North End. For people on lunch break, you can also meet us at the Unitarian Universalist Church around 1pm at the top of Church Street.
Sponsored by the Vermont Human Rights Council: 350 Vermont, Green Mountain Labor Council, Green Mountain Self Advocates, Justice for All, Migrant Justice, Peace & Justice Center, Pride Center of Vermont, Rising Tide Vermont, United Academics, United Electrical Workers Local 203, Vermont Center for Independent Living, Vermont Interfaith Action, Vermont Workers' Center
