Report from Danville Healthcare is a Human Right Forum at the Danville School

Rep. Kitty Toll.jpgLast night, over 50 Caledonia County citizens came out to participate in a forum on our Human Right to Healthcare. Six legislators from the across the county attended the event held at the Danville school.
Legislators present included:
Sen. Jane Kitchel, D-Danville
Sen. Matt Choate, D-St. Johnsbury
Rep. Leigh Larocque, R-St. Johnsbury
Rep. Lucy Leriche, D-Hardwick
Rep. Bob South, D-St. Johnsbury
Rep. Kitty Toll, D-Danville

Discourse was civil and began with members of the Caledonia community sharing stories about health care. After a summary of the tenants and goals of the campaign, all legislators voiced their support of the principles behind the Healthcare is a Human Right campaign.

There was a Q&A session at the end of the forum. The questions were collected on index cards from the audience. Most legislators answered the questions posed.
